What lake-effect snow does to a Georgian Bay RV roof
Grey and Bruce counties get the heaviest lake-effect snow in Southern Ontario. Squalls pick up moisture over the open Bay and drop it on the first high ground they meet, which is exactly where the campgrounds are. My trailer winters under heavy snow near the Bay. What should I book?
A fall check before the snow, and a spring inspection after the melt. Snow load stresses seams and flat spots, and freeze-thaw works on any crack it finds. Fall is the better of the two, because it fixes problems before winter makes them bigger.
