Preventative RV Roof Maintenance

The cheapest roof repair is the one you never need. Seasonal checks catch cracked sealant and small membrane issues while they are still small.

What maintenance covers

A seasonal maintenance visit typically includes:

  • Full roof and sealant condition check
  • Touch-up sealing at penetrations showing early wear
  • Debris clearing from slideout roofs and gutters
  • Photo record of roof condition over time
  • Straight advice on when resealing or coating will be due

Why Ontario roofs need it

UV in summer, freeze-thaw in shoulder seasons, snow load in winter, and rain year-round. Sealant in this climate has a working life, not a lifetime. Checking it twice a year is the difference between a tube of sealant and a ceiling replacement.

Even a seal needs extra water protection

Our mascot would know. Regular checks are not glamorous, but they are how RVs stay dry for decades. If you would rather never think about your roof, a spring and fall check is the closest thing to that.

Pricing

Final pricing depends on roof size, roof condition, prep requirements, travel, access, visible damage, and hidden damage found during inspection.

That is why estimates start with an inspection or photos — it keeps the quote honest instead of padded.

Keep the water outside your RV.

Request an estimate, send photos of your roof, or call and text with questions. If the leak source is unclear, an inspection is the right first step.
