RV Roof Coating & Liquid Rubber

Coating is a great tool on the right roof and the wrong answer on a damaged one. We inspect first, prep properly, and coat only where it will actually perform.

When coating makes sense

A structurally sound roof with an aging membrane, widespread sealant fatigue, or minor surface wear is a good coating candidate. Coating adds a seamless waterproof layer and UV protection across the whole surface instead of chasing individual seams every season.

Why prep decides the outcome

Every coating failure we have seen traces back to prep: coating over chalk, dirt, incompatible old products, or damp substrate. Our process removes failed sealant, cleans and primes, treats seams and penetrations, and then applies two coats of liquid rubber where appropriate.

Coating vs repair vs replacement

Coating cannot fix soft sheathing, saturated insulation, or structural rot. If your roof has those problems, repair comes first — sometimes replacement is the honest recommendation. The inspection tells us which conversation to have.

Pricing

Final pricing depends on roof size, roof condition, prep requirements, travel, access, visible damage, and hidden damage found during inspection.

That is why estimates start with an inspection or photos — it keeps the quote honest instead of padded.

Keep the water outside your RV.

Request an estimate, send photos of your roof, or call and text with questions. If the leak source is unclear, an inspection is the right first step.
