RV Roof Repair in London, Sarnia & Windsor

Southwestern Ontario is the far edge of our regular range. London, the Lake Huron shore at Sarnia, and down the 401 to Chatham and Windsor. It is also serious camping country, from Pinery and Ipperwash to the Erie shore parks. Visits out here are planned runs built around full-scope work.

Mobile service in London, Sarnia & Windsor

Because of the distance, southwestern trips are scheduled and photo-scoped in advance: resealing, water damage repair, and full inspections rather than quick look-ins. If your park or storage lot has multiple units needing work, mention it. Grouped jobs make this corridor work well for everyone.

London and St. Thomas in the middle, Strathroy west toward Sarnia and Grand Bend on the Huron shore, then the deep southwest (Chatham-Kent, Leamington, and Windsor) where Ontario runs out of map and into sun.

Ontario’s sun belt, both barrels

Essex County is the hottest, sunniest corner of the province, and RV roofs know it before the tomatoes do. UV is the dominant roof-ager down here. Membranes chalk faster, plastics at vents and skylights go brittle sooner, and sealant that would last years further north gets retired early. On the Huron side, the afternoon sun off the water gives beach-country roofs at Grand Bend a double dose.

The lakes send wind with the sunshine. Erie-shore parks take open-fetch blows that work membrane edges all season, and London sits far enough into the Huron snowbelt to collect real lake-effect streamers in winter. The regional prescription: UV protection on a schedule, and for sound roofs, coating earns its keep here faster than anywhere else we service.

Camping country, southwest edition

  • Pinery Provincial Park & Grand Bend

A thousand campsites in the oak savanna behind the Huron dunes, with private parks lining the shore road both directions. The busiest camping corridor in the southwest.

  • The Erie shore parks

Rondeau and Wheatley provincial parks and the private resorts between them face Erie’s open water. Wind plus sun is the signature wear pattern we inspect for here.

  • London & the 401/402 storage belt

The region’s storage yards cluster around the highway junctions. London stops tie the whole southwestern run together, usually paired with tri-city work.

Local questions

Is Windsor really within your range?

Yes, as a planned-run destination. It’s the far southwestern edge of the map. Travel is a real factor in the estimate at this distance, so photo-first scoping and grouped bookings matter most here.

Why does UV damage matter more in the southwest?

More sun-hours and higher intensity than anywhere else in Ontario. UV chalks the membrane, embrittles vent plastics, and shortens sealant life. All of which shifts maintenance timing earlier. What’s a five-year cycle up north can be noticeably shorter here.

Southwest sun retires roofs early.

From Pinery to Point Pelee country, send roof photos and your location. We’ll scope the work, quote travel honestly, and build you into the next southwestern run.
